A Night's Dream in Suzu

"I," a resident of Tokyo, is drawn to Suzu by his mysterious neighbor, Nanao, to work backstage for a theatrical production. There, he encounters...

This is a dramatic reading planned by Umitaro Abe, who composed the music for the exhibit "The Sea of Afterglow" (written by Yoshitaka Nanjo) at the Suzu Theater Museum.

Inspired by William Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream," the original story, drawn from Suzu's folk tales and legends, is written by poet Kiyoka Osaki.

Furthermore, Keishi Nagatsuka, who heads the theater company Asagaya Spiders and serves as the artistic director of KAAT Kanagawa Arts Theatre, is in charge of composition and direction.
